My boyfriend and I are trying to get pregnant...any tips?

We have been together for almost 3 years now and we want to start having a family. I have always want children at an earlier age (at least by 23) and hes going to be 28 this year so I do believe its time. We aren't married yet but are planning on it. I just wanted to know if there are any helpful tips on ways to get the ball rollin' if ya'll know what I mean :)
