How to convince my dad to let me get a bird?

ive been asking for a baby male cockatiel for a while, but my dad says he doesnt like birds because theyre noisy and messy. i really want a bird and i have tons of responsibility, ive had 3 dogs that i care for by myself. ive typed a whole 6 page essay on cockatiels and tons of facts about them. what else can i do to convince him that birds arent as bad as the thinks?
